Biography
Dr. Janice D. Toney was born in Huntsville, Alabama and grew up in the Madison County area. She attended Alabama A&M University where she obtained both her Bachelor of Science and Master's Degrees in the field of Elementary Education. Dr. Toney has made a career teaching in the Limestone County School System and presently, the Madison County School System. She has acquired an adminstrative endoursement from the Unversity of Alabama. She also has a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resources from Nova South Eastern University.
As a teacher, she loves teaching American History to her students. She believes very strongly in helping students reach their fullest potential in her classes. Her famous saying is "Take it to another level!" She is family oriented and loves spending time with her husband, Dr. Anthony Toney. Dr. Toney is very active with her church affiliations and with Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incoporated.
